If you are a hockey fan - especially the parents of a hockey player - the end of the season is usually bittersweet.  When State is over, you have the blessing of some free time, and the heartache of saying goodbye to the seniors and their parents, and of course, the rest of your hockey friends (family).  September will come very quickly and by then you are more than ready to don the black and purple and get out those NOISEMAKERS!  After State this year, I am now a huge fan of noise makers - whether other people like them or not, they really add to the excitement of the game!  Be prepared for next year friends - this mom is coming well equipped!

We will really miss Matt, Jimmy, Tim, Tyler, Jake, Paul, Taylor, ET, and Matt VanPatton - their play and their leadership.  Good luck to you all and may the ice follow you wherever you go!
